Mags for Ag
MAGS FOR AG is a bacchanal tasting filled with big bottles and a silent-auction raising money for charity. Notable winemakers roam the event pouring magnums over your shoulder while chefs prepare outstanding dishes. Together, we celebrate friends that have a commitment to making the world a better place through eating and drinking. We support the act of growing farmers who will raise safe food for generations of children to come.
The event can be reception style with The Fire Table or a restaurant style sit-down dinner paired to wines and spirits for groups of 100 or less. Mags for Ag can be hosted in tandem with The Fire Table or separate (scroll below)
Friends and executives learn that they have a commitment to making the world a better place through eating and drinking and together, we embark in a conversation with winemakers to support the act of growing farmers who will raise safe food for generations of children to come.
Taste Network makes a promise to champion memorable experiences. In culinary, we spotlight the family farm, craftsmanship and a responsible-luxury lifestyle supporting safe foodways.
The Fire Table
THE FIRE TABLE is a more intimate live-fire cooking showcase suitable for groups of 100 or less and pairs nicely with Mags for Ag. Notable chefs gather to cook a handful of techniques the spotlight the mission of the event, venue and participating brands. These events are an edible education of the world’s greatest moments since we started the process of cooking spiced foods over fire.
Through the eyes of notable chefs we explore the dawn of the Spice Route and blaze a path through cultures around the globe. Each chef is tasked with cooking one [1] protein and one [1] vegetable.
Cooking over fires started its’ trek to America thousands of years ago, and for centuries, groups have been gathering to enjoy locally spiced foods over fire by names such as Baba Guling, Satay, Mangal, Braai, Hibachi, Asado, Barbacoa, Luau and even now the modern day Tomahawk causes quite the celebration.
